UNLOCKED: Sharing Premium Content Easily
Submarine - the no-code, customizable solution which allows creators to take their content to the next level with complete control.

Engaging with your community as creator is no easy feat when it comes to maximizing your reach, your impact, and your monetization. Do you often find a solution that caters to your basic needs, but requires tricky code, intimidating words such as “token-gating”, and isn’t all that customizable? Enter Submarine - the new way to share premium content

The Importance of Premium Content

Premium content is the top-tier, exclusive content that only certain members of your audience can access. Real premium content is more than free content dressed up in a fancy package—it's that longer-form, behind-the-scenes, "you gotta see this" content that elevates your brand and strengthens the relationship with your audience.

Creators have been using premium content for a while, mostly through paywalls (paying money for access), but this method doesn't take advantage of what creators do best—create memorable moments that delight their audience. With the power of social media and transformative technologies like blockchain, the opportunity to offer a premium content experience that gets people excited has never been easier.

Those are the moments Submarine is built to help you create.

What is Submarine?

Submarine is the no-code solution for creators who want to offer unlockable content and share premium content on their own terms. Powered by Pinata, Submarine lets you create a deeper content experience for your community in one single link.

With each unlock method—NFT, Geo-location, Retweet, and Twitch—you can give exclusive access to your premium content in under 5 minutes. All you have to do is:

1. Choose how you want your content to be unlocked.

2. Upload it to the Submarine app.

3. Share the link with your community!

It’s that easy!

Is Submarining for you?

Any type of content can be shared and unlocked using Submarine—videos, full apps, artwork, literature, and more! Do any of the below use cases sound like you?

  • Musicians and streamers - go viral by sharing unreleased tracks and episodes to community members who retweet your announcement post or subscribe to your twitch channel.
  • App developers - gain traction for your app by offering early access to owners of a specific NFT.
  • Loyalty programs - reward your buyers with NFTs that unlock special discounts and early product releases.
  • Artists and publishers - create VIP communities for those who own your NFTs or retweet your latest piece of work.
  • IRL events - incentivize attendance to your event by offering prizes and premium upgrades unlocked by geolocation.

We created Submarine to give creators more control over their premium content—without the middleman.

How do I get started?

H2 - Enabling Widespread Adoption for Music NFTs

paragraph — The first thing the music industry needs is more exposure. For artists, listeners and yeah, the labels. Even with the use cases mentioned above, the majority of the music industry still sees NFTs as a novelty rather than a legitimate way to run a business. We see a future where the experience is built and monetized on the blockchain, with labels taking part of the experience, as well.

Second, there needs to be a big jump in user experience. Listeners know what to expect with Spotify and Apple Music: a smooth, intuitive experience that lets them listen to Lil Nas X with just a few clicks. Web3 platforms aren’t quite there. Music NFTs and related premium content require extra steps that most people don’t yet have an appetite for.

H3 - How Could Music NFTs Save Artists?

paragraph — Musician Daniel Allan spent months building a relationship with the NFT community and raised 50 ETH to fund his new album, Overstimulated. Companies like Audius and artists like Vérité's, who raised $90,000 in an NFT launch, are at the forefront of exploring new ways to get paid. Avenged Sevenfold launched an NFT collection called "Deathbats Club" with 10,000 items that grants holders access to benefits such as meet and greets at shows, lifetime free tickets, limited edition merchandise, and more.

H4 - Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

H5 — How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

  • Numbered list is the same but with numbers
  • It has a margin-left applied

QUOTE — Everyone is obsessed with making money and seeking alpha, which does a disservice to what [NFTs] can actually do. We have been instructing many bands that NFTs are a ticket for access to an exclusive club.” - M. Shadows, Avenged Sevenfold’s lead singer.
