Pinata Workspaces revolutionizes team collaboration for IPFS management, making it easier than ever before.
Collaborate with your entire team, all under one account
Pinata has served organizations of all sizes for years, and one of the most common requests we get is the ability to have team collaboration. As a developer-focused product, we initially solved this from the developer perspective with Scoped API Keys. However, it’s been clear that we would need a collaborative solution for interacting with IPFS and managing accounts through the Pinata web app.
Today, we’re excited to announce Pinata Workspaces, the next step in collaborative IPFS workflow. All paid Pinata plans have access to Workspaces. The Picnic Plan comes with 3 team members. If you need more, you can upgrade to the Fiesta Plan which comes with 5 team members. Additional user seats can be added to the Fiesta Plan for $10 per member.
With Workspaces, you can add any team member, even if they don’t already have a Pinata account. Simply navigate to the Workspaces page, enter an email address, and start collaborating.
When someone is a member of multiple organizations, they will see an organization switcher in the top-left. This switcher makes it easy to jump back and forth between organizations, always keeping things in context. There is no limit to the number of organizations someone can be a part of.
Every member of an organization has the same permissions with one caveat. The original Workspace owner has an owner role, which means they cannot be removed from an organization.
